The one and only Darth Vader made a surprise appearance at PC World in Bristol Cribbs Causeway one weekend in December and quick-witted Livescribe Retail Specialist Charlotte Skeate was swift to ensure Lord Vader tried out the latest model.

We were able to capture this moment on camera before Darth set off for a galaxy far, far away...

The Star Wars promotion generated huge interest at the Currys Lakeside store and the Force was also strong in Nick who generated record sales for the campaign to date in the store.

We asked Nick about the experience and he said: “I got ambushed by four guys with laser guns outside the store at lunch time (exhibit A). Then I was held hostage for a while by a big guy (exhibit B). But thankfully got rescued by a friendly robot (exhibit C)”.

Despite all the adventure Nick conscientiously completed his reporting and made sure that the Account Team would note: “Our promoter at Lakeside getting stopped and seen to by the Imperial Forces, but thankfully rescued by the Alliance”.
