In-Store Demonstrators Required - for major laptop manufacturer

We have a number of positions available across the UK for individuals who are passionate about technology, have previous in store/ retail experience and are able to build relationships effectively with store colleagues and customers alike.

Required experience / skill set:

  • Previous brand ambassador/ trainer/ demonstrator/ sales experience essential.
  •  Experience must have been gained within the retail environment (consumer electronics retail experience desired).
  • Passion for technology and able to understand technology with ease.
  • Understanding of the sales process and customer buying patterns.
  • Organised and able to provide accurate, detailed reporting information for each day worked.

Package

  • OTE £80 per day (which includes holiday pay and completion bonus).
  • Successful candidates, who have proven success on this campaign, will be considered for future high profile work if available in their area.

Campaign availability

  • There will be two to four weekends work available depending on location.
  • Dates are 26th/27th November, 3rd/4th December, 10th/11th December, 17th/18th December
  • Hours are generally 9:30am – 6pm Saturday and store opening hours on Sunday (6 hour shift inc breaks).
  • Training is one day and sessions are on 17th and 24th November. Additional dates may be available and are TBC
  • Nationwide opportunities.

Cambridge - High Wycombe - Kingston

We're looking for three more camera enthusiasts to join the sales promoter team for Panasonic Lumix Cameras in the above locations. This is weekend work available from October – Christmas (inc Xmas week) and key to the role is the ability to engage shoppers and retail sales colleagues alike with the features, benefits and advantages of Panasonic Lumix range.

Required experience / skill set:

  1. Previous promoter/ brand ambassador/ trainer/ demonstrator/ sales experience.
  2. Experience must have been gained within the retail environment (camera specialist or consumer electronics retail experience desired).
  3. Passion for technology and able to understand technology with ease (understanding of photographic basics essential).
  4. Understanding of the sales process and customer buying patterns (training will also be provided).
  5. Organised and able to provide accurate, detailed reporting information for each day worked.

Package:

  • OTE £80 per day (which includes holiday pay and completion bonus).
  • Successful candidates, who have proven success on this campaign, will be considered for future high profile work if available in their area.
  • A detailed and comprehensive Training programme (including Retail Partner selling skills/ accreditation where applicable) and on-going support will be provided.
  • Panasonic Lumix demonstration kit will be provided for the duration of the campaign to enhance understanding of products and aid demonstrations/ sales.

Campaign availability:

  • Weekends from the 29th October up to and including the 24th December (hours are generally 9:30am – 6pm Saturday and opening hours on Sunday (6 hour shift inc breaks).
  • Training on the 27th & 28th October.

Please ensure you live within reasonable travelling distance of one of the above store locations.

Please note, you may be required to complete a short preparation task prior to attending the training. This would include reading some basic information and a short question and answer set, in order to establish levels of knowledge. We anticipate the time to complete will be less then 30 minutes.

New Starter at Channel Advantage

Channel Advantage is delighted to announce that George Lucas has joined as Account Support Executive.

George, who is a mere 18 years old and lives in Aston Clinton, started by doing work experience for two days a week in the office back in July. He'd just finished at Aylesbury Grammar School where he'd been studying English, Geography and Computing and he's really pleased to have landed his first full time job with Channel Advantage.

George says: "The technology attracted me to Channel and I like the reporting side of the role, I enjoyed the work experience I did with Richard so wanted to get involved in field marketing again."

In his free time (not that we allow too much of it!) George plays guitar, likes a good pub quiz at the weekend and meeting up with friends during the week.

We'd like to wish George all the best in his new role.
